and since they were going for 70-80 i will sell it to you for 80 because that would mean it was a high end card since the site says cards that book over 100. If they are paying around 80 the card has to be atleast worth 100..

hey express another thing.....Denver inst Pittsburgh...here in pit we get close to book value...our way up on top of a mountain and when you get to the real world...prose something better than just the musial which i cant get 50 for...
Another thing rarity does sale metter...take a look at threads..some their stuff is hard to get buts waay over priced for what you get and if you look at the white wales they dont sale...
Pittsburgh is definatly a much larger card economy around considering they have a show basically every weekend...ive been dealing with cards for how long so please dont go on my thread and run my name down and be mad bc ur such a great rockies fan and i dont want to trade it for a card that i cant even get half book for...musial signs alot and i mean alot.....just dont run me down bc you dont have what i want for the holliday bc you want to get it off me dirt cheap....thanks come again buddy

I don't know how long you have been dealing with cards, but I've been collecting for well over 25 years.
I'm not mad - I'd love to have a copy of that card but I'm not in a hurry to give more than the last few have gone for... in today's 'world' economy, a card # 25 isn't that rare and it will come around again plenty more times and I'm not trying to get it off of you 'dirt cheap' as you say. If I was offering $25 - $40 I'd say I was offering dirt cheap.
Like I said, you can ask what you want for it... but what I don't get is you write a note saying you don't want to get into an argument, but then you post two more times - basically insulting me in the 2nd???
I completely understand what you want to get for it - again, it's my opinion (and I'm entitled to it) that you are asking way more than that card goes for... and if the Rockies continue their late season downward spiral, Holliday's cards will drop again in value like they did last year after the WS sweep by Boston. His Team USA RC Auto was at $150 when the Playoffs started - a month after the WS it had dropped to $100, His SPA By the Letter cards were at $100 each when the playoffs started, they dropped to $80 each after the WS.
Basic economics says that if the Rockies don't make another miracle run, I will find that card on eBay before next Spring Training for about $50 - $75 and not have to deal with someone like yourself who doesn't understand when someone was trying to offer some insight and advice.
Good luck with your card...The card BV is NA... that does not make it a High End card... and thought I would end with this LIST of COMPLETED eBay Auctions to give you a REALITY Check on pricing - but in Pittsburgh you guys probably get more on eBay as well, huh? Nothing listed below has a Print Run over 25...
eBay Item # Player SOLD $
270267994461 Pujols $135.59 (Topps 50th ANN Rookie #/25)
290257304097 Ethier $55.55 (Topps 50th ANN Rookie #/25)
200249969443 Holliday $34.73 (Topps 50th ANN Rookie #/25) YOUR CARD
120297821406 Wagner $21.50 (Topps 50th ANN Rookie #/25)
280259207673 Gooden $12.00 (Topps 50th ANN Rookie #/25)
300253121926 Holliday 1/1 $56.00
300253908706 Holliday 2/2 $43.88
350091590056 Holliday 10/25 $27.56
110283946846 Holliday 17/25 $16.00
130250701292 Holliday 12/25 $13.51
15029083141 Holliday 14/25 $12.00
290257299025 Holliday 2/20 $7.51
Like I said before - being #'d to 25 doesn't make it RARE anymore in today's collecting world. SCARCE maybe.

alright but you forget to put the ones that sell for a lot on here. Like shawn green 120 something to russell martins over 200 pujols sold for 180 as well. I wasnt trying to insult you i was just saying ive been collecting and selling cards for 15 years and i have seen tons of cards and i do a lot of ebay. I also do a lot of shows and i know what kind of trade value i can get there and what kind of money i can get so dont start out on my thread by saying rip off and all this stuff. I dont go on your threads and say stuff like that and this is a high end card you and i both no that. Thank you and next time list the ones that sell high to not just the the couple that sell real cheap

That is ALL of the Completed eBay Auctions for the past month - not just the 'cheap ones' as you put it.
I listed EVERY 50th ANN Auto that was Complete and EVERY Holliday AU (#/25 or less) that was Complete - go check for yourself. As far as Green and Martin - I'd like to see a link to those sales. Pujols doesn't surprise me, but as much as I like and collect Holliday, I can say implicitly he is NO Pujols as far as the hobby is concerned - and especially where realized sale prices are concerned.
And my apologies if I in anyway insulted you, but (again) in my opinion, this Holliday is NOT a High End card. You say it is, I say it isn't. So we agree to disagree.

like you told me...its not the same every /25 auto..just how football and baseball are completley different...just remove yourself from my thread bc all you are doing is running my name down and dont apreciate you comming on here and doing that.....keep your opinions like that to yourself instead of ruining my trades....you are a very disrespectful person by trying to be a hardass and making people laugh at me on "MY" freaking thread.

oh and if you say to yourself how did i make people laugh...look on the page where it was me talking then you and then someone else saying i got served...i would never come up on ur thread like you have done to mine.
