You must have bought yours in 05 after the cycle crash. Cause they have not been under 425 in awhile. In this market what is 200 bucks..They are normally as low as 400 during off season and high as 6 or 7. Not too bad just about a 200 dollar variance.
I have noticed anything other then white or black and white are commanding more. Not too unusual..I have bought some for as low as 275 all they way up to 1200 for the golds. Depends on how many you need lol..With the 3 I have and the gold one these would be nice. Especially that the seller cracked the case.. Now if 11eleven11 lived in the us these would be his 7 and eighth or more lol..Mack he has about 4 or 5 I think.

However if I pull the trigger on 2k for 2 holmes 1/1's it might deter me lol

i have bought a few sp authentics off the seller. Never had a problem with him and if he did crack it i am sure he would say unless he bought it from some one else tha way.

NICE PICK UP! I knew it was black and white and the year of his cycle crash for that price. I called that one in my previous post lol. I always want more High end stuff. that is all I collect none of the true RC (never bought into that ture rc) base stuff. Does not look half as good in the case. I guess it would be cheaper for me if I did..I actually throw out all my base or true rc out of packs. I should keep it and donate it to the forum.When I lived in Buffalo I would crack boxes at Dave and Adams and leave the non auto stuff there. Even crazier,I just went through boxes and boxes of non autos from 03 -06 to make sure I did not miss any autos and put the rest at the curb full of Bens and Holmes and Heaths Palmers. You name it lol. Every couple of years I go through severe downsize... Just do not have the time or patience I guess. I envy you for that ;)

He admitted that he did remove the card, what else do you want from him and I believe My theory was right. The card is worth more cracked because who wants an 8 anyways. That card would grade better now because beckett has really eased up on their grading in the last year or so.

trade what i can and I keep ALL steelers
Have so much base it isnt funny!
about 20,000 and climbing the TCG has helped there
and I have gotten some really nice cards from the group
Base RC's are most the only card i chase of the players however there are just too many!
the 3 Roethlisberger's I need are Leaf Limited, Topps Sig and Finite
just been hard to buy at a decent price or even trade for

For the record Beckett has not eased up on grading? where have you read that and I have 100 paypal dollars if you can link it to me here in this thread.
I just had that card graded in 07 and was not happy so I sold it..Now its cracked and looking better then ever.
