Alex Smith to Injured Reserve...Future Murkey

Who knows what is going through this guy's head. He never really had it together in San Fran...

Then again he's never really had the weapons to help him develop. But yeah, that sucks, hope he can comeback strong.

Another quarterback drafted #1 overall that has not done anything, i think it is pretty safe to call him another bust. What is it with the ones coming from the west coast and that side of the country..most of them never do anything.

Alex Smith,David Carr, Ryan Leaf,Akili Smith,Joey Harrington all came from out there.

Hector, Alex Smith had the Human Highlight Reel Brandon Lloyd in 05. Did you forget that?

Well, there goes a lot into those guys had differnet problems. Palmer for a moment looked like the one that would break that trend, but he hasn't been the same since his injury.

Yeah i agree there about Palmer...looked really good until the injury, does not seem to have gotten back to that level. Now with Arizona benching Leinart you have another one from out there that is not doing much, although Leinart has talent he does not seem to have grown up yet.

Imagine if Cassell truly tears it up? Then the most unlikely guy will break the West Coast QB Curse.
