Suspicious about bidders/bids on eBay?

Hey to all first, I am a nooby wink still, but I am bidding on a few cards on the bay right now,
Have any of you ran into a bunch of different bidders with an ID like:
j***i
i***r
j***r

I am bidding on some cards and after each time I bid, they have still out bid me.
I am wondering if it is coincidence or if there is something sneaky here.
When I try to look them up, it says invalid username and no info is available for them.
Makes me wonder if it is a bogus ID from the seller or something else.
Any info would be great.

There is something I apparently haven't read on eBay recently.
I apologize.
Only the seller can see the actual ID not other buyers

A seller can keep user ID's private, that is EBAY doing that to the names.

I knew it, but didn't apparently remember.
I had bids that kept getting outbid and thought, damn,,,,,,,,,,,,
This same name keeps drilling me.
There were a few that looked so similar.
Thought I had an eBay conspiracy on my hands
