I'm not a big golf fan, but I'd like to see Phil quit choking like The Shark always did and finally win his first major.

Whats the point of watching someone else play golf?

A bunch of arrogant self -centered Funky -clothes wearing jagballs!

Yes , I wish I could make millions for playing one a week (or in tigers case , When Nike says I need to.) But what the hell is the fascination w/ this Golf crap anyway?

What is the requirement for These geeks that follow the PGA tour and go to these Events? I can think of several things I could do with the money that it costs to get into a PGA tour event, Than Actually go!

I classify sports into three catagories:

1 sports that are Real (i.e Baseball, football Hockey ,Basketball and soccer)

    2. Sports that are activities, not sport. ( i.e. GOLF, volleyball tennis)

    3. Sports that are not sports at all and should'nt be considered even close to a sport ( i.e. Extreme sports, rollerblading Bmx, skateboarding, )

Nothing like knowing your 35 year old son wasted his college to Stakeboard for a living and hang around with 14 year olds that are still trying to find themselves and were they fit Into society.

To sum it all up.... I dont care.

I worked at two premier golf courses in Wisconsin, I have met several Pro golfers , the worst being Andy North (2 time U.S. open Champ and Designer of the first course I worked on) He's a total ™™™. Asked him for his autograph and he told me sorry, I dont want you to sell it and make money off of me. WHAT AN ™™™! what? Like I would have gotten anything for it! Later after the State amatuer tourney was finished, He found out I worked there and signed 2 golf balls for me. I told him no thank you.

    Face it Golf sucks.

How many of you did'nt watch golf until you bought some golf cards and found out they are A big collectable some places?

I totally echo your sentiments about golf.

    Not a sport I'd watch.

And I ain't paying fees to play on a course.

Not only that, why would anyone attend a golf tournament.

    You either

    1. camp out on a particular hole (18th for example), then sit and watch golfers play it while missing out on the rest of the holes (sort of like watching the innning at Dodger Stadium, then going home)

    2. follow the golfer like Tiger from hole to hole, but can't get the best seats
