Apparently people here hear a rumor that if the hurricane hits Texas hard gas is going to hit $5 a gallon. People are lining up to fill up and gas stations are running out of gas here. It was $3.65 yesterday and it's already up to $4.29 and they even showed on the news somewhere they were charging $5.29.

I went and got a haircut today and people were talking about $5 gas and I thought they were all retarded. It's crazy how bad they are gouging people already. Good thing I have a half a tank left and my new job is only 8 miles round trip so I should be good for another month.

It reminds me of when they say it might snow here on the news and people freak out and run to the store and buy up all the milk, bread, eggs, etc.
