Metallica: Death Magnetic
Anyone buy their new album? Came out on Friday. I just ordered it for $8.99 from Amazon. Big Metallica fan but I didn't hype this for myself since St. Anger was mediocre. The reviews on Amazon are positive. Looking forward to this.

Have heard it and it is alot better than St. Anger by far. I would recommend buying it.

If you are a fan of Metallica, you will really enjoy this. Randall and rest, you can sample songs at www.metallica.com They have all their songs for listening on the website. The sounds got a much more original touch to them compared to St. Anger(keep in mind that its not the 80's technology). I bought it yesterday and I love it.

I got a copy of it yesterday when it was released, I did have a chance to listen to it on the way to work this morning and I also think it is a very solid release for them..After how bad ST. Anger was it is definitely a huge change. I think it is more in the lines of Master Of Puppets and And Justice For All...Thanks Ed
I only trade by Beckett price guide, not eBay comp or SV, TV..I also do not collect any Panini or Donruss Baseball products..

The rock station here played day that never comes every hour on the hour when they first got it. During their drive at 5 for the past 2 days they have played the album completely. I have liked everything I heard yes sounds alot like Master of Puppets/Ride the Lightning. If your a Metallica fan I suggest you pick this one up. Don't believe it will outdo Black but well worth it.

Well now that I heard some more off that new album I will pass. I am a fan but I guess like most stubborn old mule I long for the days of old that will never return. Plus I never thought I would ever see Lars approve a free pass to listen to a Metallica CD
. Then again they could of done this for St anger but who wants to listen to that crap.
I do like some of the solos in some of the songs (those do sound more original), but to me Mr hetfeild just cant write good songs anymore.
I was in a bestbuy today looking at purchasing a few new cds, and while I do like the end of "the day that never comes" (about 5:25 into the song) I could not buy this CD.
I found it funny there were 500 or so of the new metallica, yet not one megadeth cd on the shelf.
