When are the Bears going to go get a true NFL QB? Orton is good for a backup...and Grossman...well.......
You know Chad Pennington probably could be helping them alot....but that is from an outsiders point of view.....

It won't be this year, I can't believe how many bad passes he threw today, missed a ton of open receivers, esp. Booker on the long one, that should have been a TD.
I really enjoyed the Bear's play calling at the end, I don't think I've ever seen two worse play calls than that.

Orton was horrible today. Only 1 pass connected for 15 + yards. He just can't connect on long throws. I think they proved in 06 that defense does not win championships anymore. They need a QB along with couple of WR's as well.

The play calling was atrocious at best. They looked ok in the first half, but the Panthers made adjustments, the Bears didn't. The offense stunk and left the Bears D on the field too long. I don't care what team you are, the D can't be on the field forever.

dont feel too bad bears fans......i still think you got a good team! that was a sloppy game for both teams........the turning point was that hit on delhomme, then the team just woke up. i really thought this game was gonna be a repeat of the 05 regular season between the bears and panthers! bears just get back on track with the bucs!
keep pounding!!!!!!!

Da bears shouldnt have messed with my boy Jake here is a quote from Mr. Otah refering to the dirty *** play on Delhomme when he was sliding down.
"Yeah, we got a spark from that," rookie offensive tackle Jeff Otah said. "I don't like when people hit my quarterback. That makes me angry."
The rest is history you pissed of the team and they beat the snot out of you after that. Good game btw.lol

Otah & Stewart are about the most exciting 2 rookies we've had in some time, except Beason. I think they both are going to be great if they are able to stay healthy most of their careers.
Otah is HUGE and I love the way Stewart runs. They try to knock his legs out from under him and he just sticks his arm out and uses it like a bumper, it just knocks him sideways and he keeps his legs churning.... a lot like Stephen Davis did for us. :)
On draft day, I thought we gave up too much to get Otah, but now I think it's worth it.
Bears dominated the first half with their entire D on the line except a safety half the time. We should have been able to figure out how to burn them down field before halftime... if Smitty were there, they wouldn't have been able to do that as much. :) Thank goodness they hit Jake hard a tad late that one time, that made the whole team mad. You could see it.
Welcome back this week Lil' Angry 89!
