Bad move by the Vikings, I think. Although Tavaris Jackson has slumped a bit and not been able to put it in the endzone, I think they should continue to give him a chance to improve. I mean Gus Ferrotte? c'mon.

For real? Wow, I said give me Gus Frerotte over Tarvaris Jackson in my rant about the game last week, but I didn't really mean it. :-)

I think Tarvaris REALLY needs to grow and improve but he's not going to do that sitting on the bench.

I guess they have to go with their "put in the old guy at the tail end of his career" strategy ala Jim McMahon, Jeff George, Randal Cunningham, Warren Moon, Brad Johnson. Did I miss anyone?

I guess that's what you get when your franchise places the hopes of the team on the back of an unproven "leader." I guess they'll be looking to AP more to take over and lead the team to their victories. Until Tarvaris is good to play on a more regular schedule, look for AP's carries to increase drastically.

Somethings gotta give - TJack wasn't getting it done - is Gus the answer? Absolutely not, but maybe he'll kick-start our offense....we need something desperately!
