    Puppy Has Heart Murmur

    TOok our 4 month old Puggle puppy to the vet for its shots, and was told she has a significant heart murmur. Says we have 2 options, Wait 2 months and have her rechecked, but if she developes coughing or wheezing get her checked ASAP or go see a cadiologist. We have to go with option 1 as we cannot even close afford taking her to a cadiologist.

    The reason we got a puppy was for something for my 2 year old son to play with as our daughter started school this year.

    Poor little thing, i dont know what to do

    That is sad to know. My advise would be to get a second opinion since my dog had the same thing and one doctor told me one thing.I took her to another doctor and after some labs he told me she didn't have the disease and she has been fine.
