Please dont compare Romo with Tom Brady. lol They are on 2 totally different levels. Romo hasnt even won a playoff game yet. I do beleive that this year the Cowboys should be able to reach the Superbowl but then again everybody thought that last year.........

Hard to retire on a net gain of $200.
Back on point, if I had purchased all 1200 Tony Romo SpA regular rookies at $20, I'd be looking at a gain of $576,000 were I to sell now at $500. Didn't happen for me, nor has it happened for anyone else. Modern-era cards are horrible investments and shouldn't be looked at as such.
Great card. Enjoy it b/c the Cowboys will win the Super Bowl this year <end of homer-ism>. But as an investment, I think you bought a couple of years too late and about 1199 copies too few.

Man, didn't know my choice of words will gain so much attention. My definition of investment is any card that I can sell for more than what I paid. So if I paid $500 and sold for $501 (sarcasm)..I'll be happy. Just going w/my gut instinct that it'll sell for close to $600 by season end. Just like my gut told me I should have bought the cup Sidney when it was at $1000. Anyways, it's never too late. What goes down will go back up. Just look at the stocks right now, my portfolio is taking a beating. But then again, it beats having my money in the banks now. Rather put it in these cards.

I personally think you missed the "buy low sell high" boat on Romo. If you are ok with making 100-200 on it, fine, you better hope they don't choke in playoffs again.
From collector standpoint, I think that's a nice addition to anyones collection.

I'm not comparing the two as players. I'm saying at this time last year most people thought bradys cards had peaked and they hadn't.
