Former Philadelphia Eagle & football announcer Tom Brookshier passed away on 1/29 from cancer. He and Pat Summerall called football games on CBS in the 1970's. They were awesome together !

RIP Paul LaPalme. I remember him signing my 1953 topps TTM while also sending a signed picture and a nice note. He shall be missed.

    Jim Bibby

Former Cleveland Indians pitcher Jim Bibby died Tuesday night at a hospital in Lynchburg, Va. He was 65.

In addition to his wife, Bibby is survived by two daughters.

Born in Franklinton, N.C., on Oct. 29, 1944, Bibby began his Major League career in 1972 with the St. Louis Cardinals. Before he retired in 1984, he played for the Texas Rangers, Cleveland Indians and Pittsburgh Pirates.

Bibby was 25-20 in his two years (1976-77) with the Indians.

He was a member of the Pirates squad that won the 1979 World Series and, when he was with Texas, he pitched a no-hitter against Oakland in 1973. He was 19-6 with the Pirates in 1980.

I just came across this one. Former Phillies and Reds 2B Ken Walters passed away on January 26th. I was lucky enough to have Ken sign a photo and Sports Illustrated for me last year.
