And Childress did it as a panic move. Lions haven't been good in years, and refuse to go to Stanton. And there is a reason why he is 3rd in the depth chart, not because he "hurt his thumb".

i know all this guys just saying you cant go by a standard that not = terrible player..... if this were the case romo,aaron rodgers and tom brady (for time that bledsoe isnt hurt) they were all nobodys except mr. rod....

I can gurantee them not playing helped them be decent QB's. It seems like if you go the old fashion way and groom the QB for a few years they develop much better.

Rodgers played terrible when he would get time in previous years. But he had a lot of hype coming from college. He played well against Dallas last year, which is why people had faith in him. Romo has played great, but it took Jerry Jones twisting Parcell's arm for him to play. Please, don't try to group Stanton in with that group.
