Heads up, Dollar Tree now has BKB cards
Went today to take my daughter looking around while killing time and what do I see but a big display at the front of the store w/sports cards. A few Baseball and Football, but mainly Basketball. They had base Panini and Adrenaline which are only a dollar anyway, but they also had Dunruss Elite, R&S and Prestige. I did notice the packs looked shiny compared to the packs usually found in Wal-Mart so I don't know if these are different or not. I did not see any really thick packs. My guess is this could be Panini's way of further introducing cards to kids since they are all only a buck. I did not buy any b/c I'm not currently collecting, but I thought maybe I could give you guys a heads up.

Yeah, I actually did just see that. Guess I'm a little late on the news, kinda like when I announced UD and Topps lost their licenses about a month after everybody else found out (lol)

Most of the cards are base-only sets - Elite has no rookies, R&S has 15 rookies, Prestige has all rookies, including SPs...don't know about Adrenalyn or Panini though, as I didn't buy any of those packs :-)

Actually Dollar Tree has sold old Upper Deck and Topps stuff before too, not just Panini stuff. So I don't think it's Panini's way to introduce the product to more kids, rather the dollar Tree's just getting whatever it can get their hands on.

Thanks for the 411. I am a little late on the Dollar Tree bandwagon. So I was wondering what you could pull.
