Thats about the going price on those I guess. I want one of the autos like that #ed /20 without the patch. Its like this...after Monday night it will seem to be either a great deal, or a waste of money. We will see.......

Not sure 1 game will determine a waste of money? He is a much better investment then Parker who will be 30 next year. People spend decent money on Parker rookies and patches. They will not be able to recoup 50% of that down the road. If they bought them for PC I am sure they do not care. Rashard will finish with way more career yards then Parker if inury free.

Who cares really. However I doubt it seeing how he is a rookie... The highest cards on the market exquisite and Sp authentics are not.

Mendenhall hasn't done anything to show me that he would be a good RB in Pittsburg, this game will be a good test as they are meeting pretty good D in Baltimore, If he does perform slight below 100yds, he will be a good backup to have, if he performs over 100 and don't fumble, he will be line to unseat Parker.

BTW from the last poster, parker will be 30 in 2 years and not next year.

And another thing to the last poster, recouping investment on Parker. I highly doubt an Exquisite type of money were thrown down on parker's cards. I mean Parker has only one rookie product, i think, with his autograph and it was an SP also. So that being said, if Parkers career ended now, I doubt his card prices drop THAT much so that you be taking a huge hit.

So far Mendenhall has a 2.8 yrd avg. and during the preseason he fumbled alot. He has alot to do to even come close to being compared to parker, Maybe 4-5 consistent 1000 plus yrd seasons??? Willie isn't slowing down and Mendenhall looks nothing like he did in college, Maybe they should have invested in lineman since Ben was sacked 9 times their last game.

Sorry about the 1 year off. I am telling you his cards will fall in price if he ended his career today. His career totals are not going to be that great. He will have had a good 5-7 year run. I am glad cause being a season ticket holder it has been nice to have an explosive back. I am not talking about exquisite type money. I am saying when he retires his cards will be 50% of they are going for right now. I have about 3k in his autos, 1/1's and patch cards. I could care if they go down they are for my pc. I knew that buying in.

It might take a little time but he will have better career numbers then Parker. If you are going to rate him on the Ravens and preseason games then you are crazy.. I could care about the o-line that is a different topic. Talk to me in the playoffs. 1st year o-lineman very seldom make a difference in the 1st year anyway. The line will be fine. They ran into a buzz saw and still only lost by 9? It is only week 3 right.
Anyway my response earlier to you was. What does it matter if it is game used?(which it isn't it.. is manufactured) What was your answer. I missed it.

I am ok with the concept too. The 1/1's are the real thing these are manufactured minis thus the numbering but better then nothing.

lol, of course it would go down in value, but not as much as others in his category, not all of use have the coinage to buy the 1/1s, lol, i guess i was referring more to the his contenders rookie ticket than anything else. BTW, it took me 2.5 years to trade for a parker rookie contenders, which will be in my pc forever, i could've bought one i guess, but wanted to trade for it, people don't want to give up their parker in a trade, considering so few are out there and there are so many of US!

If I paid $100 for a Mendenhall auto, then he fumbles 5 times on Monday nite and the same card sells at $30 a week later, thats a waste of $$. Thats a pretty optimistic prediction on Mendenhall.....hope your right.

I'm not a big fan of these gimmick patch cards they're doing. The rookie GU should be at least event worn. If they just stick a patch on there that has no connection to the player at all, then whats the point?
