Randall has a point, you can get the reg. one, and buy a hard drive, but the thing that i think is that it is made crappier.

yeah i heard somewhere the ones that came with the hard drive have the best hard drive. i dont know for sure though.

but make sure you extend your warranty, i extended mine. only 30 bucks

but saves you a 300 dollars xbox

you can only extend it if you are still in warranty to, so i suggest doin it right away

lol, well i had an original got it from a friend who got it when they first came out, last year i sold it to a friend and he has yet to have a problem, must have been one of the few good original ones
