Actually Americans seem to enjoy mild forms of socialism. We have SS, Medicare, and welfare. People that work pay into these programs and don't necessarily benefit from them.
I agree with that 100%. It's the same thing with the proposed universal health care. People love the idea of getting something for nothing, even though they're actually not getting something for nothing. Either they don't realize or don't care that those programs are making other people pay for your stuff. It used to be a matter of pride to do things on your own and never ask for help. Now it's take whatever you can, whenever you can, from whomever you can.

HE will hopefully lose, because McCain deserves it more and is better for the countey than he is. I can't wait for the debates, and Obama changing up his stories wit heach and every question.

you are so pumped for the debates, and so confident that McCain is gonna destroy Obama......the only reason you think McCain is going to win the debates is because you already agree with McCain on his issues....The problem is, McCain doesn't feel ready or he wouldn't be talking about "bailing out" on tomorrow nights debate....And after watching Palin get flustered talking to Katie Couric, I can understand why he wants to cancel the VP debate.....
Also, don't you realize McCain changes his story quite frequently as well? I mean, all politicians do, not just Obama
