Need some trade help
I've got Rivers and Cutler. I've been trying to move Rivers for a good RB (I think Cutler will end up better), but I've got a bunch of crap offers so far...one guy wouldn't even do a trade w/Thomas Jones for Rivers?! There were other players involved, it wasn't straight up (I wouldn't have done it straight up obviously), but that was the deal breaker for him.
Today I got an offer of Willie Parker for Rivers. I know he's hurt, but they seem to think it's relatively minor and he was going off before the injury. If Rivers wasn't just sitting on my bench, I wouldn't even think about it...but my other RBs are LJ, Grant, LenDale, Fred Taylor, and Brandon Jackson...needless to say, none of them are really tearing it up. Plus I'm starting Cutler every week anyway. What do you guys think? Should I take a chance on Fast Willie? Or stay pat with the RBs I've got and hope they pull out of their respective funks?

Not til week 8...but I'm not going to wait until then to trade Rivers. If I can't trade him while he's hot right now, I'm just going to hold onto him. JaMarcus, Cassel, and Kerry Collins are still available on the waiver wire, so I could pick one of them up for the bye week.

Id drop Brandon Jackson, and yes would do that trade. Once LT is back to 100%, I think Rivers production goes down a little. Either way youve got two great QB's that are playing great, so its a win win to me either way. Hang on to Grant, he'll be back, trust me.

I went ahead and accepted the trade. I think that's a good point, Sir Buc, about LT. Once he gets going, Rivers won't be asked to do as much. I still think he's going to be one of the top 5 or 6 QBs this year, but his fantasy value will probably drop some. I just hope Willie's injury is as minor as they're saying it is. I dropped Brandon Jackson and picked up JaMarcus as my back up QB...not a big fan of his, but it was b/w him, Kerry Collins, Cassel and Trent Green...not a lot to pick from.
