    Hey, new to the forums.

Hey guys I'm new to the forums.
i have a question regarding 2 oldschool cards.
97-98 Finest Embossed Rare Die Cut Refractor #'d/74 of Kobe Bryant BGS 9, I know this is a rare card, i have been trying to find out the price for awhile, if its easier to give me the raw price that works to. any help is appreciated.

Second card is 97-98 Tracy Mcgrady Rare Embossed Die-Cut Refractor bgs 9.5.

Wow, you sir, have two VERY RARE cards on your hands.

The Kobe books for $800 ungraded, and after taking a look at the population reports, it looks like you have the only 1/1 BGS 9.

The Tracey books for $300, but there are 10 other 9.5s, still those are very low odds.

Hope this helps, and Welcome to the SCF.

Wow, those are some awesome cards! Graded that high too, wow! The graded values can vary, depending on who you talk to, but it could be anywhere from 2 to 10 times the raw value, if they were graded 10....but, 9 and 9.5 are pretty close! even if you do it at 5x, that's $4000 and $1500....man, that's sweet!

Also - Welcome to the site! I'd reccommend posting a thread in the Meet and Greet forum to introduce yourself to the community!

thanks so much for the reply, wow i didn't realize the kobe had that price tag on it, makes me one happy person. i tried to put that set together, but those cards rarely ever make it onto ebay, so i ended up keeping my 2 favorite players the kobe and t-mac. i am thinking about getting the Kobe regraded the sub grades on it are really good, Centering 10- Edges 9.5- surface 9.5- corners 8.5. and the corners honestly look very sharp. here are some scans. ill get scans of the t-mac up alil later.

Thanks for posting a pic, I hope you don't mind, but I copied a saved the picture. Also, honestly, if you ever plan on selling this card, I wouldn't go lower then $1500, maybe even up to $5000, but just keep in mind that there is one 9.5 in the world, and your 9 just makes it the second rarest one of a already hard to get set.

Also, how and when did you get those cards, did you find them or buy them, and for how much?

ill give you a little of the back story, i have been trying to get cards from the 97-8 embossed die cut refractor set since it came out, but the odds of pulling them plus the rarity of these cards made it very hard. The first one i purchased was the t-mac im pretty sure i paid about $240 it was a best offer that was accepted.

Now the kobe i just randomly found on ebay, and i put in a best offer thinking there is no way i could win it, In my opinion it is the second most desired card in the set, The jordan being #1. my offer was $300 and it was accepted acouple hours before expiration. the kobe i picked up at the begininng of last year when he was demanding a trade. and the t-mac was 2 years before that.
