Man gets prison for pirating videos
This should be an example of why we do NOT allow pirated DVDs and CDs on SCF and are very strict when it comes to anything related to them.
An East Hartford man has been sentenced to two years in federal prison for pirating more than 8,000 copies of TV shows and movies and selling them on eBay for more than $100,000.
Fifty-three-year-old Stephen Singarella pleaded guilty to a copy infringement charge in July and was sentenced Friday in Bridgeport federal court.
