I'm happy to see Bama doing good...makes Clemson's loss to them in Week 1 seem much more understandable (although they still blew it against Maryland this week). Clemson dropped from 20 to not even getting 1 vote...yikes. I've been a big Tommy Bowden supporter all along, we came to Clemson at the same time (1999), but he's pretty much already blown this season with a stacked team...I think it may be time to move along.
I like seeing Vandy at 19, they're building a much better program there and it's good to see some results after years of sucking.
VT doesn't belong at 20. I didn't see the game against Neb, but they've played pretty bad so far this year and are very lucky to have that record.
It's good to be in the SEC because it's by far the best football conference, but it's terrible to be in the SEC because it's by far the best football conference. I knew so many SEC teams near the top wouldn't last. Even playing the bad teams in the SEC is a harder game than most conference's good teams.

I thought Maryland would crack the top 25 after beating 2 straight ranked teams.

Big 12 is doing well so far. Hmm........i have still yet to see Nebraska even ranked, and after losing this past weekend, maybe I won't. Wonder where that Nebraska fan is at now.
