    Jets vs. Cardinals

Anyone watch the whole game? The Jets were up 34-0 at halftime, but the Cardinals came back and scored 21 points in the 3rd quarter. Anyways, the Jets were leading 48-35 with 2:00 minutes remaining in the game. They had the ball on the Cardinals 24 yd. line. The Cardinals didn't have any timeouts to use, so the Jets could have kneeled down and run out the clock to win the game. Instead, Mangini calls up a passing play and Favre throws a 24 yd TD pass! What the hell?! Why did they have to run up the score? The score is now 54-35 with 1:54 left in the game. Then, they go for 2 points! If you ask me, that's poor sportsmanship. So now the score is 56-35. I'm sure the Cardinals and their coaching staff were upset at this, so they tried scoring on their next drive even though the game is out of reach. What does this lead to? A helmet-to-helmet collision! Anquan Boldin is carted off the field and will probably be done for the season, maybe even his whole career!

Sorry for the long rant, lol.

Mangini is showing off with Favre. He's so happy he finally got wothy QB on that team. I personally love it when team runs up a score, to me it's statement. Come strong next time. But, I do hate to see any player injured and I think that was a dirty play. Lets hope AB comes out ok.

How is it a statement? I think it's classless. The Jets should've put in Kellen Clemens, to give the guy some reps and some gametime experience. He showed some poise last year, and you want to prepare for the future.

Too bad it wasn't Favre who got his clockcleaned rather than Anquan. Seriously, is that what this guy's career has come to, running up the score on the Cardinals?

Should've stayed retired, Brett. The joke will be on you soon and hopefully your coach.

Yeah, I hate when teams run up the score. Like when the Patriots did it to the Dolphins last year, and pretty much most of the teams they played.

Im a diehard Cardinals fan and am glad to see the real Kurt Warner came out to play today! *sarcasm off

1 QB with 6 turnovers in 1 game is unreal...exactly why I wanted Leinart to be the starter.
On another note, Boldin appears to be ok. Thank God!

I still don't think Leinart is the answer.

Yeah, exactly, just run out the clock by handing it off.
