Al Davis is a Jack A**!!!!
Let me start by saying that Im not a Raiders Fan, but consider myself to be very Knowledgable about football and have grown up going to every home Redskin game since I was 8 and have been fanatical about the sport my whole life!! I will not argue about Al Davis's place in NFL history. He has done alot in his past for the sport, With that being said he has also done alot in his past and currently to hurt this sport and his team!! When I say he has done things to hurt this sport, he has been involved in multiple shady deals, made promises he dident keep, ect. What this old bat has done to ruin his team is UNREAL! Lets not mention all the crappy draft picks he's made, crappy veterans he's signed, HORRIBLE Head Coach choices in his past. When he hired Lane I thought for once he had either made a great, yet ballsy pick for a coach, or finally he had allowed someone else to make the choice for a Head Coach for him. I would never give him credit to think outside the box like that. Lane was able to finally get this team going in the right direction. Dont misunderstand me, I know the team wasent headed to the playoffs this year, but he had done a great job re-building with nothing given to him in reguards to players. He had no support for the Owner of the team. Al Davis Drafted whoever he wanted, hired whoever he wanted for assitant coaches, and dident include Lane in most of the behind the scenes things with the team. Lane still managed to get the team headed the right direction and had the support from all his players, he worked VERY HARD and his players knew it. They have lost multiple games by less then a touchdown. Lane Kiffen did all of this with UNREAL CLASS and the whole time knowing that the owner wanted him to quit so he wouldent have to pay him. All Al Davis wanted was a crappy excuse to fire the guy who I think would have brought the Raiders back to Glory. I would love to have Lane has a asst. coach on the Redskins and Im sure many NFL teams could use a guy like him and wouldent be suprised if he got hired to be a head coach of a college team. Anyway sorry for the rant. LANE, BEST OF LUCK WITH YOUR FUTURE!!
AL DAVIS, EITHER DIE ALREADY OR LET SOMEONE RUN YOUR TEAM BEFORE YOU RUN IT ALL THE WAY TO THE GROUND!! YOU OWE IT TO YOUR TEAM AND YOUR FANS!!
UNTIL THEN I HOPE THE REDSKINS BEAT YOUR A#* ANYTIME WE PLAY YOU!!

The sad part is he says he won't give up the team any time soon. I would've hoped that Lane at least stay the rest of the season. Whether what Davis said today was true or not, we won't know.

Al Davis has no sense of management skills left....the Raiders used to be a meaningful franchise and now look at them.

Ha, apparently, he said in that press conference that he isn't going anywhere either, that his mother lived to like 102, ha! He's too grumpy to even die!

I heard that too. I can't imagine how horrible the team is going to get the next few years.
