    Ash is post #53:
I'd rather do a point system like Fantasy Football, but yahoo does not have that available for basketball.

Yeah, it really stinks because I have a great team in that league but when Darren Sproles has the 6th most points overall in the league... behind only the 5 best QBs... I'm done. Ha!

    lol @ RB situation

I honestly have no idea Craig - I've never played fantasy sports before, so I'm not exactly sure how it all works

I have never done a points league, but i'm open to that and to see what it's like. As for which stats, it's up to the commissioner I guess, for free throws some players could be good at making a few and have a high percentage while others could be good at making a ton but not have as good a percentage because they have more attempts i guess.

Sure they do, I've run one every year for like 12-13 years, it's called rotisserie... like the chicken! ;)

OK, so maybe you don't need percentage. I just think that by having two FT categories, you've given it more importance than other categories like FG% now.

No, I'm talking about a POINTS league, not rotisserie.

Where you give out points for each FG made, Assist, Rebound, etc. And you can take points away for TO's, Techs, Missed shots, etc. Then, they keep getting added up, and whoever has the most points overall at the end of the season is the champ.

It's not an average thing, like a rotisserie league.

It makes it way more fun, IMO.

I don't understand why the league has been set to allow 100 games per position rather than 82... the number that NBA Teams play and also, why are both free throws made and free throw percentage being included? Isn't that kind of redundant?

Not trying to be difficult, just trying to avoid a league like the football one I described where I've abandoned my team that sees the best RB in the league being Darren Sproles, a backup in San Diego, who returns kicks so he's more valuable than ANY other RB in that league, ha.

I was messing around with Roto options and league options in case we didn't have enough for head to head league. I didn't change the settings since then. We may be going towards a rotisserie route for all three leagues because of the lack of signups.

    More to come soon.
