    Your driving pet peeves

What are the things that other drivers do that drive you nuts?

I'll start compiling my list now....

    1. Didn't anybody learn in driver's training that when you merge onto the highway you SPEED UP, not mope along 10 under the speed limit and expect traffic to slow for you?

    2. Chicks text messaging instead of watching for the traffic light to change.

    3. Of course, slow drivers in the left lane

    4. People who purposely block you out from changing lanes and then flip you off when you wedge yourself in.

    5. Buses in the HOV lane. ARGH!

I'll stop now to give you all a chance.

People with crappy cars who think they have something, and try to race you.

People who try to beat the yellow lights. (Just because I got pulled over for trying, and missing by .500 of a second... only person I know who got pulled over for that, I see it at least 5 times every day on my way to school)

People who drive under the speed limit (especially in the passing lane).

This happens quite often; I see people do it almost every week. It's amazing, too, given how seldom some people seem to want to use their turn signals when it actually matters.

My other big peeve are cell phone hogs - women and men. One lady rear ended my mom while on a cell phone, and a guy once almost drove into me while on his. I am a horrible multitasker (I know the stereotype is that we women are supposed to be good at it, but I definitely am not), so I don't even think about ever using a cell phone while driving. But I hate phones anyway and am not particularly social..

Almost forgot - and this is as bad as people who drive slowly in faster lanes - people who drive 65 MPH on 35 MPH country roads with heavy dips and frequent animal crossings. Slow the **** down already when the deer is crossing in front of me, OK?

Mine is parking! I don't mind people backing into parking spots when they have competence, but I typically see people taking 2-3 attempts to park. Is this really saving you time? Or make it easier to leave when you waste 2-3 minutes parking?

Many already listed, and I'm probably one of the most patient drivers because I always think "You never know what just happened to them, what news they may have gotten" life's to short. but man, these irk me!

#1) Speed up to 70, slow down to 30, swerving yellow line to rumble strips Drunk Drivers!!

#2) People who are looking for an exit, road or address and slow down to 1 for several or them, I usually notice these because I can't pass due to oncoming traffic, hills or turns..very frustrating.

    Hon. Mention:
People who risk my life & others darting into traffic because you'd swear they had a heart attack patient or similar emergency, but wait...
they immediately slow down, or stop to turn like 200' down the road. Especially the ones who raise their arms like you should have known they were stupid.
