Saw this the other day. Another display of O'Reilly's insanity.

I give credit to Barney on that one, I would have told O'Reilly to go screw himself and ended the interview right then and there.
Do feel sorry for Barney when it comes to his voice.

I feel the exact same way, but O'Reilly wants his guests to cave.

Love it. This guys tells people "Freddie Mac is strong going forward" in July and you guys attack O'Reilly? No wonder why we need $700 billion bail out packages. Because Democrats could care less that Democrats ran the country in the past 2 years into the ground. This video is a prime example of how clueless Democrats were, even though McCain saw this coming in 2006.
The Washington Post: McCain Pushed For Fannie And Freddie Regulation While "Obama Was Notably Silent." "In 2006, he pushed for stronger regulation of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac -- while Mr. Obama was notably silent. 'If Congress does not act, American taxpayers will continue to be exposed to the enormous risk that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac pose to the housing market, the overall financial system, and the economy as a whole,' Mr. McCain warned at the time." (Editorial, "'Always For Less Regulation'?" The Washington Post, 9/19/08)
So, McCain saw this mess two years ago and this idiot said everything was fine just 2 months ago. But let's attack O'Reilly for calling a lying idiot a lying idiot. Don't take my word for it. Take Bill Clinton's.

I don't have a problem with O'Reilly calling him out. I have a problem with the way he went about it.

Mike - He's a Senator in the United States Senate, he has earned a certain amount of respect from anyone who wants to "interview" him, if you can call that an interview.
The irony is that O'Reilly (& you) make some terrific points about Democrats being asleep at the switch on Fanny & Freddie, they took a LOT of money from these failed groups. But in this case the message is utterly lost because this sex addict is screaming at a Senator and not letting him talk. Good TV though...Please feel free to message me here about my electronic bay & COMC listings

Mike... everyone in this thread was criticizing O'Reilly's method of "intervewing"--not the issues themselves. How is it that you got the indication that we were disagreeing with his view of the topic? Quote someone, please.

First, I have no problem with O'Reilly treating a dirtbag like this like a dirtbag. He is the reason why I and millions of American's are seeing their 401Ks and retirements disappear. John McCain warned us of this and instead people called it a sham.
Quotes? You all were acting like this idiot was the victim. Americans are the victim of a Democrat party that allowed this to happen. Bill Clinton even said Democrats blocked him the the Republicans from enacting oversight legislation. I give Bill a pat on the back.

What is Barney's defense? The standard racism cry!
"They get to take things out on poor people," Frank said at a mortgage foreclosure symposium in Boston. "Let's be honest: The fact that some of the poor people are black doesn't hurt them either, from their standpoint. This is an effort, I believe, to appeal to a kind of anger in people."
