Warning...Topps is no longer replacing 2008 Rookie Progression

Topps just returned some damaged 2008 Rookie Progression cards with a note saying that they are no longer replacing them. One was a fairly nice quad jersey. They did not offer a substitution.

This product is still arriving at retail outlets and has not exceeded the one year Topps policy.

Keep this in mind if you are considering 2008 Rookie Progression. If you open a box or case and some of the major hits are damaged they cannot be replaced.

    Thanks

I would contact them again and get an explanation. If you do let us know, thanks

The cards were a Henne/Woodson/Young/McNabb Quad Jersey and a Savage/Bernard numbered to 99. Both had a similar series of dents on the front. They simply said that they are not available for replacement. They refused my request for substitutions.
They are usually better than this. I guess they are trying to be more like Upper Deck.

that's pretty sucky of them to do that. i thought the usual run on replacements was at least 6 months to a year.
