I am near Petersburg, VA. It's ok, but I would much rather be in North Carolina (where I was born and raised). VA is a nice state (excuse me...Commonwealth), and the Petersburg/Richmond area has a lot of great jobs and the quality of life is nice. Just wish there were more hobby shops...lol.

Denver, CO baby!
Reasons to move to Denver....
*Rocky Mountains
*Under an hour drive to most major ski resorts (Vail, Breckenridge, Keystone, etc...)
*300+ sunny days per year
*Affordable housing
*More graduates degrees per capita than any other major American city
*Air is thinner so golf balls go much farther
*More breweries per square mile than any other major American city
*Almost everyone is from somewhere else so everyone is very approachable
*Three NCAA Div I schools within an hour (Univ. of Colorado, Colorado State, and Air Force)
*Every major sports team (Rockies, Broncos, Avalanche, and Nuggets) as well as almost every other more obscure sports teams.
I'm sure there are more but these are just off the top of my head.
Who wouldn't want to live here....

I'm in Minnesota - in terms of weather, it can get hot in the summer, but is usually pretty nice - 10-12 90+ degree days on average...the winters are NOT nice though, so unless you like freezing temps and lots of snow, I wouldn't recommend living here year round.

Im from South Dakota. I would not reccommend moving here. Its flat, hot in the summers, cold in the winter and not one natural tree anywhere.(By natural i mean not planted by people) Economy is pretty good here though

Southwestern NC...Blue Ridge Mountains, lots of outdoor activities, warm summers and cold winters, relatively close to Atl, Charlotte, Chattanooga, Knoxville, Asheville...relatively small town, so not a lot of people, but that's one of the best parts about it in my opinion.
