Walter Payton Cut Auto Question
Ok, so I've seen the Walter Payton Phone Card Auto Cut and placed into SEVERAL High End Products from 2007 but yet I can't get over $100 BV for my phone card with DUAL Certification of its authenticity and the one's cut and placed into a card company's cardboard getting upwards of $600 BV for it.
What's the difference? They are the same exact card except one is cut and one is the entire card......
Anyone?!?!?

Most people generally do not care for the phone card autos.
But when a company takes one, cuts it and puts it in National Treasures or Exquisite for example, they make it look better in some peoples eyes.
I'm on the fence personally, cant decide how I feel about the phone card autos, the card itself or the cut versions. Still debating that one.

It's the same with any cut just about. You can get a PSA/DNA cut auto of Payton for in the $300 range. HOWEVER, let UD cut that apart, throw it into some kind of cardboard, number it, and all of a sudden it's worth at least double. Personally, I'd prefer the original autograph myself ( in your case, the WHOLE phone card) but that's me.
Oh, and in case you haven't seen it when I posted it here before, check out the Payton in my bucket.

a phone card is a phone card, regardless of what its in. i personally think they damage the phone card when they cut it, and that doesn't necessarily increase its value, except to some people. :-)

For me, I just don't like the look of the phone card autos....too small, and it seems like the marker is too thick on most.....now I prefer something like this.....couldn't pass it up for a BIN of $200.....it just looked so.....well.....SWEET!

I think them cutting them up and placing them into a cut auto and #'ing them less than how many actually exists is ridiculous. What would you rather have out of these??? A actual Walter Payton touched auto or a cut auto /10??? Most people will say the cut auto because it says there are only 10. What a lot of people don't realize is that companies just have stupid parallels in a lot of products where there is no difference in the card but maybe color and it is #'ed either 1/1 or 1/1000. Who cares unless the difference is significant in the card!!!! "OMG I got the only yellow refractor of Tatum Bell #'ed 1/1!!!" But sticking to the topic, I would love to work a deal on your Walter Payton as it would be for a friend for Christmas.
