    i'd say start by getting a box of something that is good but not outrageously overprice...something like Bowman rookies and starts is always good...it's not two expensive, offers great value per box with usually one auto and a few game used pieces with a couple refractors mixed in.....and it also has two products per box since it has bowman and bowman chrome

    I agree, Bowman is a good one to start with. You get an Auto + 2 GU. + Bowman Chrome and regular Bowman. a variety. And if you wind up being a set collector you probably have a decent chunk of the set.
