I would say Topps Chrome as well. Upper Deck is okay at best, unless you pull a "big-name" rookie jersey. I don't have any experience this year with Absolute, so I won't say one way or another. Sage Hit High Series is a fun break, but the cards don't hold their value. Overall, I would go with Topps Chrome.

1st Topps Chrome....always get good value with rookies and refractors
2nd Upper Deck....plenty of rookies this year and the rookie GU 1 per box
3rd for me this yr would be Prestige but those are all gone by now
After that it becomes hit or miss....Absolute does not really have too much in blasters unless you get lucky.

I was just wonder which of these 2008 retail blasters I should get? Limited budget keeps me from buying them all lol.

Topps Chrome- I love refractors, and have seen lots of people get lucky with nice chrome autos.

Upper Deck- Loved the Starquests from baseball and I heard there's an abundant amount of football Starquests in blasters. Plus the guaranteed GU is a nice thing also.

Absolute- Not sure on this one, my blaster breaks on this product in previous years have only yielded base. They've guaranteed a GU per blaster this year though.

Sage High Series- I'm not sure my Wal-Mart carries this, but i've heard many good things on this. 2 guaranteed autos plus an almost complete base set for only $20 makes me go .

Funny I was gonna ask the same question. I am new to the forums and new to collecting football cards. I really enjoy the cards that have jersey material or autographs but I never know what to collect. I have one signed rookie card (Drew Olson...lol) but I just started collecting Topps Chrome and like what I have seen so far.
