Football Pools? Serious question about how to win?

OK I'm baffled ... but it seems so easy ...

I run a football pool at work and for the last three weeks the same lady has won and I think I have her figured out. This is a straight up pick em with the tie breaker being total points in the monday night game.

This lady plays two sheets every week, one sheet she goes through and picks em straight up but on her second sheet she plays almost identical picks except those toss up games. Example ...

these were her sheets last week

sheet 1: BAL, CAR, CHI, ATL, INDY, SAN, NYG, WAS, DEN, BUF, DAL, NE, JAX, NO

sheet 2: TEN, CAR, CHI, ATL, INDY, SAN, NYG, WAS, DEN, ARZ, DAL, NE, PIT, MIN

so obviously you can see that sheet 2 was her winner sheet being that she only picked the San Diego game wrong!! Is this pure luck or is there something she knows that not everyone else knows. I consider myself to be pretty savy with football and I was the second closest to her with 4 games wrong.

Is there actually a strategy to win these things or again is it just based on pure luck!!?

Thats how i do every years NCAA basketball pools. I do 2 sheets. One conservative and one with more underdogs on it. I came in 2nd one year and i'm usually in the top ten with at least one of my sheets almost every year and its a 100 person pool.
