Card restored ? Maybe card was trimmed ?

PSA and BGS grade differently. Just because it graded high on PSA does not mean it will grade same or higher on BGS.

Don't know if you can do anything about it, it's done deal.

Yeah PSA and BGS are entirely different. It sounds like one of the sub grades from psa to bgs possibly graded a 5.5, because the highest overall grade can only be half a point higher than the lowest sub. And I was also wondering if the LeBron was pack pulled. Someone could have trimmed it or even dabbed a corner with a little ink to cover up a "touched" corner or something. Either way I'm sorry to hear this, hopefully it was a mistake in the email.

i would crack the cases back open and send them back in if thats the grade you do receive, unless you dont trust them enough again, i can understand that too. But i have received cards back that graded an 8.5 or so and cracked them back open and had my local card shop send them back in with their order, "my local card shop sends stuff in weekly to get graded" and maybe that makes a difference which i think does because everytime that i have done that the cards always came back a 9 or a 9.5. Kinda sad but true.

how honest is it when the guy that sends in a lot gets better grades?
i have even heard of guys getting a different card back that the one they sent in, we're talking switching cards here, and it has been done.
anybody that thinks beckett is honest is asking to get stiffed.

i cracked a case that had a 6 rookie auto, and it then became worth more.

    Unhappy

Hate to break the bad news but here's a link to another forum. That seller has had different eBay IDs and this one was found to be selling fake/reprinted Starting Lineup cards.

Thanks everyone the kind words. The Lebron ws not pulled by me, I bought it from bigboydsportscards about 3 months ago. As far as I know, he doesn't has a history of messing with cards like that. I am very savy and would have noticed it myself if it was altered. + if it was trimmed, wouldn't it say card altered instead of restored? How do you restore a card from 03 04, it makes no sense at all. The card that was a psa 9 was a miguel cabrera tt auto rookie. They gave the surface a 5 I think, and that is a crime because the surfaces were the best part about the card when I sent it in. I don't know what to do, but this is a ton on money that I am potentially out of and I have a hard time trusting these grades. I am no rookie when it comes to sending things in, this is very odd...
