PO Insurance Claims. Anyone ever had Problems

Just want to here from you if you had PO probs with lost mail and the PO not paying the insurance. The PO recently lost 2 cards from a trade I made and now they dont want to uphold there end of the insurnace. The cards added up to $450 And that is what the ins was for. Now there having me jump through hoops to prove the items value, and that they where what was actualy shipped. LMK would love to here about some victories against the PO, and what you had to do to receive your money.

I have never dealt with this but perhaps scans of the cards, scans from beckett (or bring them a beckett) and show them the posted transaction on SCF? Just trying to think of some evidence that may help.

It doesn't make sense that they would offer insurance and renege when there is a legitimate complaint. This is probably because of the rampant mail fraud that's been taking place in the past 10 years since the online shopping boom. Proving the cards' values could be done by referencing a Beckett and a completed listings search on Ebay. Not sure where you can turn. At only $450, it's not worth filing a complaint in court.

I guess it depends on how much money you lose in a day of work. After they file a continuance 3 or 4 times, you just lost close to a week's worth of pay. I see it all the time.

Here's the thing I have already provided the PO with a Beckett listing of the value and proof of shipment. There just giving me a hard time, and delaying the process as long as possible in hope that the items will show up.

I think small claims court is up to $5000, not $500...anyways that really sucks, why do they even offer insurance then. If its obviously there fault and they lost the mail, they should cover it no matter what.
