Because we all thought her own staff was going to find her guilty of misconduct. Wow, what a shocking conclusion

"That the governor did want me to fire him, and I chose to not. You just can't walk up to someone and say, 'I fire you.' He didn't do anything under my watch to result in termination."
this is funny since other reports claim the trooper broke multiple rules and could have easily been fired sooner.

The nearly 300-page report does not recommend sanctions or a criminal investigation.
Yep, she was a criminal, yet the panel says she wasn't. :)
The real abuse of power is how this came up now, just a month before the election. If Palin was NOT running for VP this would never have been investigated. Funny how Democrats work, huh? Since their is NO criminal wrong doing, this is weak at best. At least she is not on boards with terrorists that blow up government buildings and having fundraisers all terrorists house, all facts and admitted by Obama.

Democrats AND Republicans, Mr. Silvia. This was a bi-partisan investigation. Did you even read the article? So, were you 100% wrong, or did you knowingly mislead?
I suppose I'll address the Ayers accusation, too. He committed those acts when Obama was 7 years old--a bit too young for terrorism, wouldn't you think? Also, the only assosiation they have is bringing funding to schools. Obama had no control over Ayers' hiring. Obama did not associate by his choice, so I don't see how he's of wrong-doing.

I could really be misunderstanding your point here, so I apologize if I am...but this investigation was known about within days of her nomination...This didn't just pop up out of nowhere
