    Question for 97 Legends Collectors

Is card # al-47 sid luckman exchange auto said to be non existant? I have head that this card never made it out due to him passing before the redemptions could be sent out? I have also heard that people sent in the redemptions but never recieved anything???? The beckett price guide shows the exchange card but does not show the actual autod card. I checked with a few 97 legends set collectors and the card is NOT in their sets either. Any info on this card?

The reason I am asking is becasue i just came into possession of this card...

I have never seen one of these in my time collecting and like I said before i thought they were never produced. The person i got this card from said they sent in a redemption to get it. I found a website that said 97 legends was released on 1/1/2006 with luckman passing on july 5 1998, so its possiable some got redeemed and sent out but strange none have surfaced. Any thoughts??? Opinions??

the cards were sent to the players and they were supposed to sign them and send them back. i believe mike webster AL176 signed some and gave some out himself. i don't know if he sent any back to upper deck, and who can believe anything beckett says. between upper deck and beckett, one will lie and the other will swear to it.
who knows what happened to the cards upper deck sent to luckman? i never heard of one turning up.
i have seen a regular legends luckman card that the seller said he signed, but if he didn't return his cards, how could he sign a regular card? but he just had too many so called signed cards that it was impossible to prove. plus he did sell some real authenticated pack pulled autos. that sort of thing makes the forgerys look good.
and then, how do you prove it? ebay doesn't care because they are power sellers. of course, if more luckmans start turning up, i will be very suspicious.
here are my 2 luckmans to check it against.

I don't trust it. the "d" is not looped enough and the there is no break in the "k"
