Some guys just never learn when to quit. The guy was given a second chance, and then he throws it away.

    Pacman

Geez guys, another incident....mmm...I think everyone knew this was coming at one point or another, I don't wanna say that I knew it but I was hoping it wasn't going to happen. I love it when people turn their lives around and do good for somebody, but Pacman (which I am going to continue to call him Pacman) just can't stay out of trouble. Sadly this is going to be on the Cowboys (who are falling apart piece by piece). No, I'm not a Cowboys fan but I do wish the best for Pacman and wish he could straighten up and become a great football player, which may never happen!!!

pacman is a COMPLETE FOOL...you will get no argument from me there!

However, Commissioner Goody is depriving Pacman the right to earn a living by suspending him over something that was "in-house" essentially. I say "in-house" because there are NO charges whatsoever, and NO probation violation being filed...If his employer, the police, and his probation officer do not have a problem with this, then there is no reason for Goody to have issue with this

Pacman knew when he was re-instated that part of those conditions was that he was to have no alcohol related incidents. The NFL is his employer technically, Jones should be able to follow a few rules and keep out of trouble, don't you think. Playing in the NFL is not a right.

Ageed, he knew what was expected of him and he choose to be selfish. Either he handles himself appropiately the next four weeks or his career in the NFL is over.

    Pacman handed minimum four-game suspension

Cowboys cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones has been suspended for at least Dallas' next four games, the NFL announced Tuesday.

Wrong he has to look out for the image of the league. I don't feel bad for Pacman at all. I am sure the union will appeal this though.

The union will appeal, but the 4 game suspension will probably be up at that time...Also, if Goody has the "image of the league" to look out for, then he should probably suspend Nick Kaczur. He was arrested for illegal possession of prescription drugs, then cooperated with the DEA and snitched on his supplier...double standard??? Matt Jones will probably end up being suspended, but even he will have been through the court process BEFORE he is suspended...just remember, Pacman was suspended for an entire season before he had plead guilty or was convicted of anything...Same thing with Chris Henry...suspended before he even had his trial, in which charges were eventually dropped. At least Tagliabue, as a former lawyer, gave players due process

I guess I should also state one more time for clarity that Pacman is a complete fool

Pacman knew when he was re-instated that part of those conditions was that he was to have no alcohol related incidents. The NFL is his employer technically, Jones should be able to follow a few rules and keep out of trouble, don't you think. Playing in the NFL is not a right.

I agree with you that he most likely violated the terms of his reinstatement by drinking alcohol, but maybe then the league should stop having Coors Light endorse the NFL...if his own probation officer hasn't violated Pacman yet, then why is the league? Where did the NFL acquire evidence that Pacman was drinking? However, knowing him, he probably admitted to it...lol

Also, Commissioner Goody is employed by the owners of the 32 NFL clubs. While they grant him power, he is essentially an employee of Jerry Jones

Again, for clarity, yes Pacman should be able to follow some rules and stay out of trouble...but this isn't my argument at all

Once an idiot, always an idiot. But, this wasn't THAT big of an issue. But, this is Pacman. Hopefully Cowboys will get Newman back soon. Pacman didn't provide any big plays in the punt return game so we won't miss him there either. Cut him loose Jerry.
