Yes, it seems everyone hits this dilemma, weigh the pro's & con's and do what's right at this point & time in your life.
Hey, just don't have a "Sell all out, fire sale" as the bug Will Return ;)
Good luck with whichever route you choose.

Seems I try this from time to time myself. I made it for about 3 years before the bug hit me again.

I've been through this before too. I sold my collection in 2002 to get myself out of some financial troubles and didn't pick it back up until 2006. Two of the guys in my sig pic were drafted by my two favorite teams and the bug had gotten me again.
Good luck in whichever route you choose.

I have 98% of everything I pulled from over 20 years ago until today!
Sometimes months go by and I don't have any action, sometimes longer. No offense, but I wonder often why some need to act like they're leaving the hobby never to return.
Actually, what I think it is....is more like "I'm done buying and flipping" or "I'm done trading". Gimme a break

I am gonna take some time off to help my daughter get her coin collection done. I think is more fun when one of your kids like collecting something
