New here, need help with a banner

Hi,

I'm new to the site, but not to the hobby. I'm not very computer savvy, but I really think a lot of the banners guys have are neat, so I would like to create one.

I'm looking for someone who can either offer advice/instructions as to how to create one, or someone who wouldn't mind putting one together for me. I would like it to be of Brian Dawkins of the Eagles. I can provide plenty of pics if that helps. Thanks for your help in advance,

As for making your own, I would suggest using a program like Photoshop, older versions can probably be found fairly cheap. I have also heard of a program called Gimp, it is similar to Photoshop but it is free to download. Then you just need to search for online photoshop tutorials and get to know the programs

if you do decide to get a program like photoshop or photoimpressions then just keep practicing! everybody develops there own style so just keep with it

I just wanted to thank you guys very much for creating banners for me...and especially so quickly. What service!!

I hate to have to pick between one or the other because they are both pretty neat, but I really liked the second one because it has the Philly skyline in it. Perhaps I can eventually get them both in my sig, or change this one later. In any event, I appreciate your efforts, time, and talent on this!
