    Interesting Perspective...

Although this is merely a trading site--one of many--I, as well as many others, can't help but feel a strong bond with it. After thinking about it, here's why I have deep admiration for what my girlfriend calls "a stupid site":

I've been an SCF member for 20% of my life. The aforementioned love of my life has been with me for 7% of it (HA!), my father for 33%, the Yankees for 37%, the Democratic Party for 14%, my career for 6%, my sanity for 2%, and the collecting hobby for 43%.

Hence, I've basically grown up on here. It's weird, actually...

I'm interested to see this statistic for other members.

I like the perspective Yanks...it brings out the nerd in me (not that that's too hard).

    Site: 5%
Wife: 43% (off and on some of the time...too hard to calculate the offs)
Father: I'm not sure what we're calculating here
    Cubs (longest fan-span): 66%
    Clemson (strongest fan-span): 33%
    Republican: 30%
Career: I wouldn't call what I have a career at this point
    Sanity: 25%
    Hobby: 30%

Aside from the Cubs, the wife's got it. Does that mean I have to listen to her when she tells me to get off here? Or it's ok if I'm posting about the Cubs? I think I might need to become more active in the Baseball Forum!

I think he had father as how much he's been in his life - that's what I took it as anyway....and the more I think about it, my # should be lower

Was that the series against San Fran? With the earthquake? I remember watching that series, I would have been 9. I loved Eric Davis at the time, he was my favorite player throughout my childhood.

The earthquake was San Fran/Oakland in 1989. The 1990 Reds went wire to wire and swept the heavily favored Oakland A's in the world series.
