Theme Week #21 - The Best Signature!
This theme will run from now until October 25 11:59pm CST.
This theme only applies to autographed cards. We are only looking at the signature only. The brand, player, BV, etc does not matter for this theme. So, bring on the great looking signatures!
You can only show off one card related to this theme.
You can check out our worst signature theme week here.
Duplicate entries are not accepted. If you used a card in a previous theme and won the theme that week, that card is no longer eligible for theme weeks.
Only picture entries will be accepted. Your SCF username must also be written or typed on a piece of paper in the picture. No photoshopping!

Argghh...I had the perfect card for this one.
Long story...but it involves a mailday envelope, my car, and some rental movie returns.
Anyhow...
Can't wait to see this weeks entries.
Most sigs are pretty lousy, so to see some gems will be a treat.

Just got this in (thanks randallcards!): Robin Lopez auto. looks artsy, like he sat down and designed it; he's supposeadly the artistic one out of him and Brook right?

kinda funny, the entries so far are MJ, i thought this was based on how they signed, not who signs it?

Well, Michael Jordan does have one of the best looking signatures in the game, IMO. I especially like it how he emphasizes and stylizes the "M" and the "J".
In a designer’s sense, this is a great use of hierarchy, and since most people refer to him as "MJ", it's no suprise these are the first two letterforms we see in his signature. Unlike most other autographs, where athletes tend to use the same weight throughout all there letterforms, Jordan, in a subtle way, does a nice job in distinguishing that "MJ" from the rest of his name.
I personally feel that there is a reason why so many of us are drawn to Jordans signature, and it's not just because he is one of the Greatest, but because it is designed perfectly.

Title said best signature, player doesn't matter I happen to think MJ is the best signature in my collection. But it is a duplicate entry so I have to change it to Coby that would be the only reason I'm changing my entryLast edited by williams51; 10-19-2008 at 07:41 PM.
