    Who Killed Mccains Regulation

    Mccain did stand with Hagel to speak out against freddie but it wasn't the dems who killed it as the Rep. controlled everything at that time. So why didn't they pass it?

    Wow...extremely interesting. You knew there had to be Republicans voting against it as well based on the numbers of each in Congress, but I had no idea this was the reason why they voted against it. It doesn't really change my opinion of the situation though. Democrats, including Obama, were still against the plan and didn't see the impending doom while McCain was still all for it and appears to be clean of any corruption ties in the situation.
