No more EliteXC
Just read that they are closing down, and there will be no more EliteXC. Reason was due to lack of funds.

read that too. I heard lack of funds and that abc won't think about bailing them out because of the investigation of the last kimbo fight.

My question is what happens to the chick fighters like Gina Carano? Any chance UFC goes out and makes a Woman's title?

There is no way Carano goes to the UFC. Dana White himself said he does not like the idea of women fighting in MMA. If anything, they might go to Strikeforce. Man, so many struggling organizations, EliteXC is gone, Affliction is hanging by a thread, DREAMS is also struggling.

lol, yeah, there is has been a lot of question being brought up as far as Jared Shaw's way of handling EliteXC. It started when Seth said they had hinted to him to stand with Kimbo, but it was later said that Shaw told him that because of the bonuses for knockouts and fight of the night. Then there were even rumors that Shaw took a peak at Carano naked as she was weighing in. My opinion on this is, good riddance. The way this company was handled, it was a joke. Instead of going out and trying to not only develop lesser known fighters and try to really find a star on the rise, they kept leaning towards Kimbo and trying to make him out to be the main attraction. Let's be real here, us REAL mma fans will know the real deal from a side show, and EliteXC turned into a side show. When Kimbo fought Thompson, everyone knew it was all b.s., and the said part was that it took away from the Lawler vs Smith fight, which was a great fight.

i watched xc strictly for gina carano. hopefully the fight with cyborg happens somewhere. gina has killer personality/looks
