When will Darren McFadden get the start?

McFadden is putting up way better yards per carry than Fargas, and Darren is also a better athlete. How long will it take the Raiders to figure this out and give him the deserved starting RB role?

If I'm not mistaken he had the chance to start when Fargas was out, but injuries really have slowed him down.

Once he gets over his injury completely, I'm sure that you'll see a lot more DMC in the backfield. Fargas is a nice complement, as he's more of the straightforward guy.

I think you all are probably right it must be an injury or something I mean only 8 carries per game the last 2 games? He seems to be a stud when healthy and I look for him to start tearing it up if given the chance. But hey we all now how the Raiders are, they do not seem to have everything figured out very well.

That pretty much sums it up.

He is overrated. He hasn't lived up to the hype. Why would he start?

Personally I don't by into 'hype' but I don't know how you can crown someone overrated when they've played less than 6 games. Even with the lingering injury he still has a 5.1 running average and over 300 yards, more then half of what the king of overrated Bush put up in his first season.

THAT is why he would start. At least give the guy a chance, let him play a season and then judge him.

Everyone was saying Peterson was going to be the best running back ever 6 games into last season. Why not here?

I don't know who saying that but it's all about perception, if you buy into the hype prepared to be slapped with reality if and when the so call experts are wrong.

I never thought AP would be the best in 6 games, the same goes with McFadden. I think the proper way to evaluate a RB is to wait at least 1 season or 2, and then judge them accordingly.
