I know this doesn't have anything to do with cards but I'd like to hear any of your guys stories.

I used to live in Windsor when Jovanovski played there. I remember getting his autograph after a game one night when I was like 8. I can remember being amazed at how big he was hehe.

Another one of my fav. stories was when I was in Toronto for my grandma's funeral.I was about 9. My dad took me to Maple Leaf Gardens to check it out. We walked in to the Leafs store and were looking at all the cool collectibles and stuff. Just as we were about to walk out in came some guy wearing a cowboy hat. My dad said"clear the track" and the man gave out a little chuckle. My dad then started looking through his coat pockets frantically and pulled out a pen and some paper. He then told me to go ask the man to sign it for me. I asked why and he replied "trust me you'll thank me for it one day" so reluctantly I went over to him and he gladly signed the paper and patted me on the head. Walking out of the store I looked down and read what was on the paper. "Best Wishes Eddie Shack"

My favorite was meeting Mario Lemueix after a whalers game when I was younger, getting him to sign for me. I also have so many whalers auto its unbeleiveable.

I did shots of wild turkey with Bryan Smolinski, sang karaoke with Shawn Horcoff and played a parking lot roller pickup game with Anson Carter.

My favorite time was in Vegas. Pre=season Kings/Avs. I was able to get Jimmy fox, Rob blake, Kelly Buchberger, and Patrick Roy to sing my Mini coffee cups. It was so much fun because they took their time and gave great sigs on them. Ticked off my freind who has called it my Tea cup collections since then.

my grandpa used to coach gary roberts and joe nieuwendyk soccer when they were kids so every once in a while i get to stop by their houses and get autographs, have dinner and hang out..its great

never met an NHLer, sad to say, although i may have seen Roberto Luongo at a minor league game after the game...probably was Travis Scott(the Lockmonsters other goalie at the time)

I met Travis Scott too. He played with Jamie Storr in Windsor with the Spitfires also. I always wondered what happened to him I didn't know he was still with the Kings organization.

I met a few when they were in the Minor leagues. Darcy Hordichuk was great. I met him the first time and got my picture taken with him pretending to punch me in the face. I met him a few months later and got him to autograph the picture.

I usually head up to Red Wings training camp in Traverse City every year. The guys are really good about signing up there. I've gotten Gordie Howe, Ted Lindsay, Bowman, Hasek, Yzerman, Hull, Shanny, Chelios, even Fedorov. Everyone has signed at least once.

Gotta love Traverse City... Wings training camp, then dinner at Don's Drive In.. Life gets no better. Ok maybe hit up the casino too.
