Selling high end cards safely on ebay

I recently started collecting cards again ~1-2 months ago and was lucky enough to bust some cards worth decent money, including 2 cards selling on ebay between 200-500 dollars. After building up some ebay feedback, I was thinking of selling these to supplement more card purchases, but am worried about getting scammed. I hear all the horror stories of buyers saying they didnt receive the item or disputing it with paypal saying it isn't as described.

So I was wondering if you guys can give me some advice about selling high end items on ebay. Especially the big sellers that frequently sell high end items. Do you get scammed often? What do you do to prevent this or is it mostly unavoidable and we just have to live with the fact that some buyers are dishonest? Any advice would be great! Thanks :D

Most people that buy high-end aren't out to screw anyone over. However, you can protect yourself by sending stuff insured, or making them sign for the package, therefore guaranteeing you that they received. Also, you can list in the auction something along the lines of selling as-is, what you see is what you get, etc. That way, if they try and make something up about a condition, you'd already be covered by having that in your auction listing.

id also state somewhere in your auction that people without significant positive feedback can not bid- i usually say 150-200 fb at the minimum when I sell higher end stuff on ebay
