I'd be interested in hearing the reasoning behind those rules. Both sound ridiculous on the surface.

well the first one, is i got threatned by my teacher last year, she said she'd kill me in a non-joking type way. reported her to the principal, and he said theres no way she could do anything (which is untrue) but said if i had threatned her i'd be expelled.

second one, they never went into specfics, they say they are not "neccessary"???

also we are not allowed to wear sleep pants or flannel type wear because they will cause a disruption during class???

You go to a high school in Michigan and can't wear a coat? weak.

When i was in high school people would get high in the bathrooms, come to school drunk, bring knives in their pockets, chew tobacco in class, have race riots, fight teachers... ahhh the good ol' days in Flint, MI.

the reason for that is because you can hide guns and stuff easily in there

you can do the same with a sweatshirt though? you can hide a pocket knife in there and they'll never know, and you can put a gun in your backpack, they dont check?

thats there excuse i think i remember, but its a bad one.

guns can be seen easier in a sweatshirt as opposed to a coat - also, it take a bit of time to dig something out of a backpack, so someone would see I would think.

Don't they have metal detectors at your school? I'm sure there has to be a liason officer too.
