Isiah Thomas ODs on sleeping pills
Former New York Knicks coach Isiah Thomas was reportedly hospitalized Friday morning after overdosing on sleeping pills.
Authorities say an ambulance was called to Thomas' suburban New York home, and someone from the home was taken to a hospital. Various reports say the person taken to the hospital was Thomas.
According to the New York Daily News, police say the victim consumed "roughly 10 Lunesta sleeping pills."

Bad stuff...the article doesn't say whether or not he's suicidal, but I don't think you can accidently take 10 sleeping pills. Hopefully he can get any help that he needs.

Very unexpected. 10 seems like a lot. I used to take lunesta and when i took it i think i was told to take a max of two. but i don't remember.

Thank goodness. I feel bad for Isiah. His tenure with the Knicks was horrible for his status/fame/career.

I don't like him, but I hope he's alright. I've read some people are calling this a suicide attempt. Lame!

I saw that on ESPN, and the sherriff said that "his cops knew the difference between a 47 year old male and a young female".
Kind of crazy either way though.
