Giants D cost me a 50 inch TV
Before the season, I joined a free fantasy contest at Rotohog. It is a stock market based game so each day the prices of the players go up and down based on who is buying and selling. You are allowed one team and they also offer a second contest in which you can create a 2nd team but this one only lasts 8 weeks. Prizes for the 1st contest are pretty good(25,000 for 1st, 10,000 for 2nd and so on). The secondary contest is called the Edge out Brandon Roy league(No idea why they used him, lol). So I am in 1st place overall in the Brando Roy league where 1st place is 50 inch LG Plasma TV. 2nd thru 25th is assorted brandon Roy autograph stuff. All my players are done and the one guy who can beat me has the Giants D. I am up by 1.65 pts until the Pittsburgh snapper sends the ball sailing over the punters head for a safety. As the ball sailed over his head, so did the TV. lol I was so bummed out. Now I am stuck with an autographed Brandon Roy Swingman Jersey. Woopee!
The good news is that I am now currently 2nd overall with 9 weeks left. I would certainly take $25,000 over a TV. Wish me luck.
