Just Curious(kinda annoying)- How come...
How come people put "traded" or "sold" above cards in there photobucket that they dont have anymore, instead of just deleting the card?

i agree i've never understood this? i'd say they should either make a "traded" or "gone" folder in there bucket or just delete there cards

I know that sometimes I will do so if I am trading with a MSF trader- that way, if he doesnt send, I dont have to rescan the card, and if he does, I delete it then

I hate that as well. I also hate people who have very unorganized buckets. As for me, I'm all about organization and want to make sure I present my stuff in a way that's appealing to everyone. That' why I will always take the best picture possible, post the name and brand in the Title of the picture, and keep it updated. It's not that hard to do.
Then you get the people who have stuff in their FT section and when you ask they're like, "Oh that's been traded, and so has that and that." Well gee, TAKE IT OUT OF YOUR BUCKET THEN.

That is also a good idea, Ed. In that case, I usually put something like "PENDING" in the title, so members can know that it might or might not become available at some point.

I know a few reasons why people keep the stuff in their bucket but I can't say why they don't make a folder for it, I have an idea though.
1) To keep track of cards that have been traded
2) To keep track of certain patches/serial numbers
3) To show off a nice card they once had
4) In case the person they are trading with has no scanner
etc...
Also most people I've seen who have TRADED or GONE in the title mixed with their other cards is because they have little cards to begin with, so it kind of makes it look like they have more. Maybe ?

I have often wondered about that myself, but I can see some logical reasons why after some of the responses in this thread. I personally delete all of mine once I have traded them.

The reason some people dont is because it breaks a direct link such as in a Show and Tell Forum.
